Toshiba Corporation was awarded the Jacksons International Airport Redevelopment Project by the PNG government. Toshiba’s resident Director Mr. Etsuro Ikeda has engaged the services of Omega Business Consultants Ltd as the finance and administration consultant for the entire project duration from April 1999 up to November 2002. The Jacksons International Airport in Port Moresby has since been certified compliant to the international aviation safety standards following the commissioning of the project. The post-commissioning retention of Omega’s services was extended until 2005 when Toshiba officially closed its PNG operations.
